Astronomical Support

Our astronomical support group supports the astronomers and observers. The group is an important link between the internal processes of the observatory and with the external community of astronomers.

The group is responsible for the optimization of scientific output in both instruments as our radio telescopes. With their knowledge of astronomy the group not only supports operations and maintenance. They also support the technical development of operators and engineers. The group also supports scientists in their projects with their knowledge of technology.

The support scientists also perform quality astronomical and / or technical research programs. This contributes to our scientific reputation.
